Contact

Email [email protected] and it reaches me, Theres Voßmann, and nobody else. Corrections are the most welcome kind of message: if an opening time has moved, a tour has changed its meeting point or a link has rotted, I would rather hear it from you than find out two seasons later.

What I can help with

Questions about visiting the Residenz, about what the ticket does and does not include, about which parts of the site cost nothing, and about whether a particular guided day actually goes inside the palace. That last one is the question I answer most often, and the short version is on every tour we list, with each listing’s own wording beside it.

What I cannot help with

I am not a tour operator and I do not sell tickets. I cannot change, move or cancel a booking — that goes through GetYourGuide, using the confirmation email you were sent. I also cannot sell you entry to the staterooms: those tickets come from the Bavarian Palace Administration, at the desk on Residenzplatz or on its own website, and what they cost and cover is on tickets and what they include. Group bookings and school classes of fifteen or more have to be arranged with the palace six working days ahead, and that is also its business rather than mine.

Where this is written from

Würzburg, a few minutes’ walk from the Hofgarten gates. If you want to see where that is: Würzburg, Germany on Google Maps. The ways in — on foot from the main station, by tram, by bus, by car — are on how to get there.
